Two of the original family band brothers recently reunited, when Merrill Osmond\u00a0went to see his brother\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/people\/donny-osmond\/\">Donny Osmond<\/a>\u2018s Las Vegas show \u2014 an occasion which culminated in the two singing the 1971 Osmonds hit \u201cDouble Lovin\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Merrill officially retired from performing in early 2023, so it was an amazing and unexpected treat for fans to see the two together. Merrill then posted the video of the duet to his Facebook account<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?height=476&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Freel%2F833821495710178%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=268&amp;t=0\" width=\"268\" height=\"476\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Of course, like many siblings, there was a little friendly rivalry on display. I couldn\u2019t help but think about our parents \u2014 how they set the tone, created the foundation, and showed us what true love really means. They taught us unity, oneness, and what it means to live a Christlike life. Their influence is in everything we do, even after all these years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Backstage, they joked around and then spoke about how much it means to them to have their childhood and life available to rewatch on videos. Donny has been meticulous about keeping everything and digitizing old shows to save for future generations.<\/p>\n<p>It truly appeared to be a special night, one that Merrill almost missed because he was going to go to the movies instead!
