Priscilla Presley has once again drawn public attention after reports surfaced about her wish to be buried next to Elvis at\u00a0\u00a0Graceland<\/span><\/a>. This request reportedly emerged during legal negotiations over her daughter Lisa Marie Presley\u2019s estate, in which Priscilla and her granddaughter Riley Keough were involved. \u201cI want to be buried next to Elvis at Graceland \u2014 because it has been my home for many years,\u201d Priscilla was said to have expressed. However, such a request is far from simple and raises both practical and emotional concerns.<\/p>\n

The first issue lies in the limited and historically significant burial space at Graceland. Elvis\u2019s grave rests between his grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley, and his father, Vernon. His mother, Gladys, is buried immediately to the side. In fact, when Lisa Marie passed away, her son Benjamin Keough\u2019s resting place was slightly moved to make room for her\u2014highlighting just how delicate and complicated any changes to the gravesite can be.
