George Strait has been openly and consistently in a relationship with his wife, Norma Strait, for over 50 years.<\/span> They are high school sweethearts who eloped in Mexico on December 4, 1971.<\/span> They also had a small church wedding in their hometown of Pearsall, Texas.<\/p>\n

Strait frequently acknowledges Norma and their long-standing marriage.
