Brooks & Dunn<\/strong>\u00a0have just broke the record for most Country Music Association Award wins of all time!<\/p>\n <\/ins><\/div>\n On Wednesday, Nov. 19, the legendary duo took home the CMA Award for Duo of the Year for the 16th time. This win brings their all-time total to 20 \u2014 breaking the record for most-ever wins at the awards show.<\/p>\n The record-breaking win comes just one year after they finally broke their tie with\u00a0Vince Gill\u00a0<\/strong>for the most CMA Awards. However, 2024\u2019s crown was short lived as\u00a0Chris Stapleton<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0ended up tying them with 19.<\/p>\n This year, Stapleton was nominated in three categories, but did not take home any awards \u2014 meaning Brooks & Dunn now have the sole title of most wins of all-time.<\/p>\n <\/ins><\/div>\n <\/ins><\/div>\n After accepting their win,\u00a0Kix Brooks<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ronnie Dunn<\/strong>\u00a0reflected on what the honor meant to them after over 30 years in\u00a0country music<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI know Kix and I have been around for a long time and Leanne [Morgan] just tripped a little trigger when she said she was postmenopausal, I think we are too,\u201d Dunn began. \u201cI\u2019m a little emotional right now. Every night at these sold out shows, y\u2019all, it\u2019s surreal to us. \u2029People come up and Kix will go, \u2018How many of you are first time Brooks & Dunn fans at the show?\u2019 and 80% of the audience are raising their hands. So, we\u2019ll take this and try to make you proud, okay?\u201d<\/p>\n Brooks continued, \u201cI heard earlier tonight, \u2018Y\u2019all ever get sick of this?\u2019 \u2029Oh, hell no, man. This is too good.
