Many people urged her to send her two oldest sons to a special school because of their speech difficulties \u2014 some suggested institutionalizing them. She refused. Instead, she transformed our kitchen into a classroom. She installed a chalkboard and taught them music, spelling, and math right there at home. She always believed that patience, education, and communication could change lives \u2014 and she lived out that belief every single day.<\/p>\n
I can still picture her at that chalkboard, her handwriting stretching confidently across the deep green surface. To me, that was proof of her love for learning. She wasn\u2019t just raising children \u2014 she was shaping futures. Because of her, I learned more than just lessons in academics or music \u2014 I learned perseverance, optimism, and how to face challenges with compassion.<\/p>\n
Throughout her life, she carried herself with humility, grace, and quiet strength. My father treated her with deep respect; never once did I hear harsh words or cruelty between them. In a world where true partnership is often misunderstood, they showed us what respect looked like between spouses, friends, and parents.<\/p>\n
