Introduction

Some country music moments are too important to be there for just one night. That’s exactly why the news about Alan Jackson’s final concert feels so special.
When Alan takes the stage at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on June 27, it will mark the end of a touring career that has spanned more than three decades. Fans rushed to buy tickets the moment they went on sale, and now many are selling for hundreds, even thousands, of dollars. But the good news is that this farewell won’t be limited to the people lucky enough to be inside the stadium.
Alan recently announced that the entire event, titled “Alan Jackson: The Last Show,” will air on NBC later this year and stream on Peacock the following day. In his own words, it will be a celebration of “the music, memories, and fans who have been part of the journey every step of the way.”
The night is expected to be one of the biggest gatherings of country music stars ever assembled. George Strait, Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Riley Green, Keith Urban, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Jake Owen and many more are scheduled to honor a man whose songs helped shape generations of country fans.
What makes it even more emotional is knowing everything Alan has faced in recent years. After revealing his battle with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, he continued giving fans everything he had. As Alan said, “My fans always show up to have a good time, and I’m going to give them the best show I can for this Last Call.”
Some artists have hits. Some artists have careers. Alan Jackson built a legacy that will still be playing long after the lights go down in Nashville.
If any country singer has earned a farewell this big, it’s Alan Jackson.
