Introduction
São Paulo, Brazil – The world is stunned after an ultra-devoted Elvis Presley fan spent over 3 years and $2 million USD constructing a house shaped exactly like Elvis Presley’s face. What’s eerie is that the design is only fully visible from above—via drone or Google Maps—where Elvis’s iconic pompadour, deep-set eyes, and trademark smirk come to life in uncanny detail.
The mastermind behind the shocking project is Ricardo Almeida, 46, an architect and lifelong Elvis fan since he was 13.
“I didn’t want to just hang posters or play his records. I wanted to live inside Elvis,” Ricardo said. “Every time I step into my house, it feels like I’m stepping into a legend.”
Located in a quiet suburb of São Paulo, the house spans nearly 1,500 square meters. Every architectural element was carefully designed to contribute to the aerial illusion: a black rooftop mimicking Elvis’s hair, two skylights shaped like sunglasses, and a curved white porch that perfectly forms his smiling lips.
After Google Earth updated its satellite images, the internet went wild. The full Elvis face appeared shockingly clearly amid the neighborhood, and it quickly went viral across platforms in the U.S., Brazil, Japan, and even Vietnam. Comments flooded in: “CREEPY BUT COOL,” “Elvis would be proud!” and “Peak fan energy right here.”
Inside the house is a private mini-museum containing over 300 Elvis-related collectibles: original vinyls, sequin jumpsuits, concert tickets from the ’70s, and even a small strand of hair believed to be Elvis’s—acquired at auction.
Initially, neighbors feared the bizarre structure would lower property values. But after tourists started flocking to the street for selfies and international media picked up the story, opinions changed. Locals have even nicknamed the area: Presleyville.
In a later interview, Ricardo added:
“I didn’t build this house for people to understand. I built it for my heart.”
