Introduction
Despite numerous claims that have surfaced over the years, Elvis Presley’s family has consistently maintained that Lisa Marie Presley was his only child.
Members of Elvis’s family, including the sons of his cousin Billy Smith who grew up with Elvis at Graceland, have publicly stated that Elvis had only one child, Lisa Marie. They acknowledge the prevalence of rumors about other children but emphasize the lack of concrete proof, especially with modern DNA testing capabilities.
Graceland has stated that they would even pay for DNA testing for anyone claiming to be Elvis’s child, and so far, no positive matches have been found. Furthermore, Elvis’s will explicitly left his entire estate to Lisa Marie, with no other children mentioned.
While individuals like Desirée Presley, John Smith, and “Elvis Presley Jr.” (Phillip Stanic) have come forward with claims, often accompanied by books or public appearances, the official stance of the Presley estate and family remains that Lisa Marie was his sole biological heir.
